The heel is the second most common site in the entire body that is susceptible to pain caused by pressure ulcers. The foot waffle’s air-filled straps and foot pad floats the heel while maintaining the integrity of the foot, ankle, calf, and Achilles tendons. This technology relieves the legs and heel. The EHOB foot waffle is portable and may be used at home, on O.R. tables, stretchers, hospital beds, and wheelchairs. This foot waffle is delivered pre-inflated. Should you need to adjust the expansion, you may also purchase a WAFFLE L.A.D.(Lower Air Delivery) Pump to adjust the inflation. The EHOB Foot Waffle is highly recommended for the prevention and treatment of Stages I-IV Pressure Ulcers and Deep Tissue Injury.
