Catheter Plug and Tube Tip Protector is designed to cover drainage line connectors and keep them sterile. It is capable of providing a quick-acting plug for all flexible tubing, with lumina from 3 mm (1/8″) to 9mm (3/8″), including standard 7 mm (9/32″). It features a tapered tip with annular ridging which helps facilitate easier insertion and a sturdy grip. It can be used to enable sterile technique when a foley catheter is disconnected from the connector, or when temporary breakage is necessary for urinary drainage systems or other in-dwelling catheter procedures. It is absolutely latex-free.
