The ColActive Plus Collagen Dressing, 4″ x 4″ is a specially designed topical wound dressing that uniquely transforms into a protective soft gel sheet once it makes contact with wound exudate. Upon application, it helps promote an optimal moist wound environment that helps promote and enhance natural wound healing. It has been specially formulated with EDTA that helps remove zinc to inhibit the activity of matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) which helps promote a more suitable wound healing environment. It also contains Alginate and CMC that allows it to absorb up to 20 percent its own weight in wound exudate.
