NUTREN® 2.0 is a calorie-dense tube-feeding formula intended for use for patients with high calorie requirements and/or a fluid restriction.

NUTREN® 2.0 is an unflavored tube-feeding formula for patients who require a calorie-dense and nutritionally-complete solution for their tube-feeding needs. NUTREN® 2.0 is loaded with 2 kcal/mL, with each serving containing 500 calories and 21 grams of protein. NUTREN® 2.0 is also appropriate for use for patients with increased energy requirements and/or patients on a restricted fluid volume diet. NUTREN® 2.0 is also ideal for use for patients at risk of, or suffering from malnutrition. NUTREN® 2.0 is made from a high quality casein-soy protein blend, which is intended to help support and maintain a patient’s lean body mass, as well as canola oil, which acts as NUTREN® 2.0’s primary source of fat. Canola oil is nutritionally rich in monounsaturated fat, and it contains ALA, a type of omega-3 fatty acid beneficial to a patient’s pulmonary system. NUTREN® 2.0 also contains taurine, carnatine, and other ultra-trace minerals.
NUTREN® 2.0 is suitable for patients on a variety of diets, namely patients who are on gluten-free and/or low-residue diets. NUTREN® 2.0 is also suitable for use for patients who are lactose intolerant, except patients with galactosemia. NUTREN® 2.0 is for tube-feeding use only thus, NUTREN® 2.0 is not appropriate for IV use.
